GlossyBox Pop Art Themed October 2014

Hey Love
So here is a quick post of my latest subscription box from GlossyBox October 2014. I recently joined the company by subscribing monthly which cost me just under £13 monthly. I had previously been subscribed to the company a while back however I did take a break and decided just recently to get back to do it and I really enjoyed this months product and this months theme of POP ART.

The outer packaging which was the box it came in was very different from all the other boxes I had received in the box. It was a very bright yellow packaging which the Pop art wordings on the side and I just couldn't wait to open it. The second box inside, was again very bright and had a picture of a girl putting on mascara and of course the Glossybox logo. I really loved this months packaging just because of the theme and of course I kept the box, as I did with all my others as they do come very handy. Inside the box as I open it contained well packaged items wrapped in a light pink tissue paper with a black ribbon around it and with that the box contained 2 postcards, one of which was a sneak peak of the november box and the other was a welcoming card. I however, never received a leaflet containing further information on the products such as the prices and where you can buy the items but the website of GlossyBox had all the information needed for these items which was really great.

So here is a list of the items I received and my personal reviews on the them:

1) Creme Fraiche de Beaute Mask- First time trying on the mask I was a little confused on how to apply this on my skin as I have never tried on a mask before which has the same consistency as a normal mask that you would apply on, leave on and wash off. However, after doing further research I had found out that you can use this as a normal mask and wash off after 10 minutes or simply massage on to the skin as you would with a lotion and this will help to keep the skin feel really hydrated. I personally LOVED the product. I was so thrilled that it came in full size and I do believe this retails for about £19.50 for the 50ml which is why I think the quality of this product is just so amazing. The consistency, is exactly what a lotion feels like and fragrance wise, to me it almost has a green tea smell to it and smells very natural. It never had a greasy feeling and I could feel how well it moisturized my skin throughout the day. Overall I love this product I totally recommended.

2) Yves Rocher Quelques Notes D'amour- The second item in the box is the lovely sample fragrance by Yves Rocher. I love getting sample perfumes in a little miniature bottle, I think they look really cute and provides me with a little more product as would a small thin perfume bottle would. The perfume has a really strong fragrance to it, almost like a floral rich smell and perfect to use during special occasions. I know personally myself, I love saving sample perfumes only for when time comes to using it as I really dont like wasting it, and this also go for the bigger version. But The smell of the perfume is really strong, very vibrant and the packaging itself is simple but has an elegant touch to it. The bottle packaging does not have too many details just a simple engraved heart on the side of the bottle. In terms of price, this retails and about £33 for the 30 ml size.

3) So Susan Flutter Mascara- This is an intense carbon black mascara which provides the darkest lashes. So when i saw this product I was really excited to give this a try, the packaging alone looked super adorable and the Gold Color made it stand out for me. Too be honest I have never heard of the brand before but have recently researched more on their product ranges and I am very impressed. The wand brush itself was not as large as I expected and the consistency was a little on the liquid side in comparison to my other mascaras, however what I loved about the product was that it gave me the darkest and most intense color which is one of the things I look for in Mascara's. The color is super intense that it made me look like I had fuller lashes. However, It did mention, that the product make the eyelashes curl after the second coat, but with my stubborn straight lashes, even after curing them with a curling wand did not work for me. I tried applying several coats but it just did not curl it as well as expected. However, despite the curl problem I have, I love the product, it even has a hint of fragrance to it and I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for an intense black mascara. This came in full size and retails for £14.95 for 4ml

4) Ciate Paint Pot ( Talent Scout)- When I first heard that this nail polish by Ciate was going to be in the box I was so happy and thrilled just because I am such a massive fan of the brand. I had received one Ciate Paint Pot (island hopping) in my past GlossyBox and loved the product. The packing is super cute with the little black ribbon on the front and the colors are so vibrant and in excellent quality too. My Ciate Paint pot came in the shade purple which I was very impressed bu as this is the perfect season to wear this color and goes very well with anything I wear. So I was really impressed with this item, and it also came in full size to. This product retails for £9.00 for 13.5ml

5) Rimmel Londons BB cream matte Minis (Light)- This is a multitasking 9-in-1 skin perfecting makeup and also contains spf25. I was really impressed that this months box came with a Rimmel Product as I am such a massive fan of the brand and coudnt wait to test this BB cream out. At first test, I did find that the product was a little too light for my considering I have an almost caramel like skin tone however, after blending this in very well into my skin I did find that it wasnt as problematic as I thought it would be. But personally, I like semi-heavy coverage foundations and BB cream can be a little to light for me in terms of Coverage. However, it does wanders for me during summer when I like to wear less foundations. So I am glad I got this in my box as it will come in handy. This product retails at £6.99 for 30ml

6) Etre Belle Liplift Peel- This product is a moisturizing lip exfoliator which helps to remove any dead cells on the lips surface to keep it more softer and moisturized. I have never tried a lip exfoliator before and I was really impressed by this product. It contains miniature scrubs just like a facial scrub which helps to remove any dead cells which is so useful for me during the winter. I always get dry lips during cold season and this will help not only to keep it softer but to moisturize it along the way. I really is simple to use, and it almost acts exactly the same was as you would apply a lip gloss. This product retails at £12.95 for 15ml.

Thanks for reading and have magical day
