Wedges Collection

Hi Loves

In today's blog I wanted to share two of my recent purchases from New Look. As a petite 4'11 girl I have always felt quite uncomfortable with my height and wearing heels is really really painful for me so I decided to try out using wedges. I have used wedges in the past and have always found them super comfortable and have no problem walking in wedges throughout the entire day. So I went on the New Look website and found the two most cutest wedges on sale and decided to go for it. I actually bought one pair from the children's shoe section however it was a size higher than I was originally which is a size 3 and the shoes were an unfortunate size 4 which kind of let me down but I thought to myself why not just give it a try anyway and of course I loved it in the end.

The wedges are a tanned colour and has some small ridges at the bottom which makes the shoes look even more cute. They do however look a little large in terms of width but I guess that's just the style of it. I managed to get this on sale for £9.00 reduced from £20.00 which was such a bargain for such great quality.

The second pair of wedges I bought from New Look which is probably my most favourite of the two is so perfect for any type of occasion which is what I love most about it. Again New Look ran out of my sizes and had to go for a size 4 instead of a size 3 but like the first pair I decided to    purchase anyway and have loved it since then. I have only used this once to go out shopping but would love to try wearing these on a night out. They are super comfortable an excellent quality. I believe I bought this about £9.00 which got reduced from £20.00 which again was an excellent deal.

Kelly Brook Beauty Range Review

Hi Loves,

Today's post is going to be a mini review on two of my most recent beauty purchases which I am currently loving right now. So I was doing some on-line shopping a couple of weeks ago on the New Look website and came across their beauty and accessories range. Having shopped new look for a while now I have never really bought anything beauty related, I guess mainly because clothing stood out more when you walk in to the store. However, whilst browsing I noticed that Kelly Brook had some make up ranges in the store which of course I never knew about, and of course I really loved the look of the two products and decided to purchase them and give it a try. The two products includes, The Kelly Brook Red Lipstick which looks stunningly cute and the Kelly Brook Black Eyeliner Felt Tip Pen which again looked stunningly cute.

I must say, trying out these two products which were very inexpensive turned out to be an excellent quality and long lasting in my personal opinion. What I loved most about the Red Lipstick was how matte and vibrant the colour was and how comfortable it was to wear it throughout the day. The smell of the lipstick did have a strawberry type of scent to it and the golden packaging with the black and white polka dots on the handle gave the lipstick such a sophisticated look. The price of the lipstick came up to an amazing price of £2.99 (http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/accessories/kelly-brook-red-lipstick-_278371860)

Moving on to the eyeliner, again this product was amazing which gave me such a vibrant look. It did last a long time and I must say it felt super comfortable whilst applying the felt tip pen. It was so easy to glide on and create a wonderful cat eye look which is what I loved most about it. However, I do feel as though the eyeliner, is not as strong as other eyeliners I have used but either way as long as the colour shows up and last longer I am happy with it. The price of the eyeliner was £2.99 which is such an amazing price (http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/accessories/kelly-brook-black-eyeliner-felt-pen_260419101)

Revlon vs Maybelline Liquid Foundation

Hey Lovlies,

I wanted to start my first blog by sharing a review on my two most used foundations which I have just recently purchased and tested out. The two liquid foundations I will review on is the Revlon Colorstay (Combination/Oily Skin) in 330 Natural Tan and Maybellines Dream Satin Liquid Foundation in 048 Sun Beige.

To start of with the Revlon Colorstay foundation and a little background as to why I decided to purchase this particular range was mainly because I heard so many excellent reviews on the foundation. Since I have oily skin I was at that stage where I needed a foundation that not only gives me a great natural flawless look but product that would help decrease my oily skin throughout the day. With extensive research not only did I see high ratings and excellent feedback on the foundation this product actually did an amazing job on my skin and this did wanders with my oily skin. It mentioned on the product that this will provide a 24 hours long lasting effect which actually worked for me for about 10-11 hours maximum of wearing without retouching which was excellent. It also feels really light and not as cakey feeling as some other foundations. The colour matches perfectly with my skin tone and little goes a long way. I purchased this at my local boots pharmacy for around £11-12 which is pretty expensive however with the product being of great quality and long lasting I would purchase this foundation again. I rate this foundation a 10/10.

The next product to review on is the Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid foundation which I again I am absolutely in love with. I have used this foundation in the past and love the quality this gives me on my skin. As mentioned with the revlon foundation, this product also received excellent ratings and reviews and would rate this the same as this product gave me such a flawless yet natural look. It did't feel to cakey nor to dry it actually felt like I wasn't wearing anything on my face which is what I liked about this foundation the most. However the only downside is that, with my oily skin this did not help to reduce the oiliness in which the Revlon Foundation did but then again the foundation regardless of this, still gave me a long lasting finish look and would repurchase this foundation. I bought this at my local superdrugs store for around £7.99 which very affordable for being great quality and long lasting. As with the revlon, I would repurchase this foundation again. I rate this foundation 9.8/10.
