The perfect wedding dress and hairstyle for your Wedding Day

WEDDING DRESS:

Planning for my wedding is exciting and its just a few months ahead and I cant bare to wait till I start trying out different styles of wedding dresses and hairstyles. So I came across this website which I am actually a member of and saw some really fascinating ideas to help me when choosing the perfect wedding dress and hairstyle. One of the things I look for when buying a dress is:

Style, Comfort, Design, Color, Detailing and the the suitability it has on my figure. I'm not to sure exactly what my figure type is but as a 5'0 foot petite person it can be difficult to find the perfect wedding dress in accordance to my height, so this information from this website really helped me. So here is what the information says about wedding dresses for Petite Shapes

"Tricks for lengthening the body include empire-line or dropped-waist dresses. A fluid line from top to bottom also works well and avoids the body being broken up, or sheath gowns in floaty fabric, without too much detail, are ideal. Too much volume may drown a petite frame so it’s best to keep skirt volumes to a minimum"

HAIRSTYLES:
So a wedding wouldn't be the same without that perfect hairstyle. I have done some research as to what type of hairstyle I want for my wedding. My hair is slightly medium length at the moment and trying to grow it out untill my wedding day next year which im sure will be long enough to style. So in accordance to the website, it gives information on how to match your face shape with perfect hairstyle ideas for your big day. My face is slightly rounded so I read up the information for Round face and here is what they have to say about the different hairstyles:

1:

Round face: Updo with a quiff:

By creating exaggerated volume on top of the head with this fresh, sexy quiff, round faces are then balanced by keeping the sides and the neckline pulled tight and up.  Visually this will give an illusion of a more oval face shape, plus the height at the top will make you feel instantly glamorous and lifted. I’d recommend this look if you are wearing a strapless gown too as it will show the femininity of the neck, shoulders and décolletage - beautiful!

                                                                                                                  "youandyourwedding.co.uk"

Round face: Half-up on straight hair:

As round face shapes are all about the curve, beware of adding lots of movement as this will simply add unwanted curves and become unflattering. Half-up, half-down styles work as they break into the fullness of a round face shape and the side-sweeping fringe reduces the round outline at the temples to give a hint of shyness covering the edge of the eye – very sexy. Worn smoother, the length of the hair flatters a round face as its clean outline balances and elongates the face beautifully. Adding slight backcombing at the crown will also accentuate height and pull you away from a circular outline.

Round face: Dishevelled beehive

The golden rule to elongate a round face is to add fullness and height through the top sections of your hair. A total style classic is a beehive. By twisting the hair up to the crown securely at the back this style emphasises a slender neck line and narrows a round jaw. The volume of the slight off centre fringe adds a sexy touch and divides the size of the face mid-way down, highlighting cheekbones instead of simply cheeks. Setting hair on velcro rollers will create body and pliability to your hair, making it easier to put up. Top tip – use dry shampoo at the roots for added oomph and hold, to make this modern dishevelled finish to your beehive more wearable.

OOTD Dinner Date

Hey Loves

Heres my Outfit of the Day and also what I wore for dinner. I really loved this outfit especially the pleated purple skirt from Primark. I don't own much of these type of skirts however this looked really nice with my sleeveless laced top from New Look and my purple wedges from Deichmann. I also paired this up a few of my accessories, including my bag from Charlotte Rouse, Jewellerys from a mix of places but my charm bracelet which i really love was actually a gift from my mum on her trip to Mexico and my necklace which is one of my favorites is also from Primark. As for my makeup, I decided to go really dark maroon color on the lip using my KIKO lipstick in shade 88 which blended really well with my outfit. Thanks for reading xoxox
