Pop Art Inspired Makeup Look-Halloween

Hey Everyone

Heres a small look I created using face paint and makeup. I decided to try out a look I found online to create this almost Cartoon Like Me and I really loved the result in the end. I did the best I can to make the colors stand out to create that cartoonist effect. I made sure that I defined all my crease likes to make the features more stood out, such as my neck area, nose and jaw line to create a 3d effect. I am hoping to make a video on this very soon and I cant wait <3

Lots love

Hey Everyone

So this is a new topic for me and I am so excited to share with you guys the Apps I use to edit my pictures on Instagram. So as we all know, Instagram is a current trend and has millions and millions of users around the world. I, myself am one of those people and to be quite honest I have just discovered that Im quite obsessed with the app. I love editing my pictures, whether its adding more colors, adding filters or by adding effects, This makes my pictures stand out. So if your looking around for some apps that can make your pictures stand out then this blog is for you and I hope that all my information helps you decide which app is perfect for you.

1) Line Camera- This app was one of the first ones I downloaded ever since I bought this phone. I found that my camera installed on my phone was not so interesting as it didnt have much features. When I saw first downloaded the app I was so happy that it included camera which I mainly used instead of the camera set up on my phone. This camera has all the editing software's all in one which includes: Camera, Filters, Texts, beautify and some Borders too. So I mainly use it to beautify my pictures and the camera quality is great too.

2) YouCam Perfect- This app is one of my favorite apps to use when take pictures. It includes a Beauty Camera where you can change the setting and it makes your features really glowing, almost airbrushed like and you can also adjust the settings. Another reason why I love this is app is the beautify features. Here you can, Contrast your face, add blusher, remove blemishes, change skin tone, red eye problems and even conceal any dark circles. I mean talk about the many beauty features. This app only works on faces so trying to use this app on objects wont work as it has a self detection where it only allows faces to be used to edit.

3) Retrica- This is one of the apps im still trying to get used to and dont often use. I find that it only works when you take direct pictures. It doesnt work when wanting to upload pictures. However I find that this is much easier when you want to just take a picture with a filter straight away. This has so many filters to choose from which is why I also love this app.

4) Cunpic- This app, like many beauty apps has many features. From filters to beautifying the face, aswell as adding borders and effects, this is a really cute app to add really nice features. I mainly use this for the effects just because I love adding sparkles to my pictures and this app does the job. A really great app to use for when you want to use effects.

5) Facetune- This app is more like photoshop, you can edit your face for example, remove blemishes, skintone, and again has all the filters, defocus feature and many more. I love using this app to remove blemishes on my skin. Sometimes I just want that perfect skin and this really gives you that.

6) Instmirror- I love this app, just because I really like adding mirror effects to my pictures. Whether its a fashion picture or a selfie this app really does and amazing job. It is very simple to use and you can even adjust the box to how and what style you want the mirror like picture to be.

7) Afterlight- This is a great app to use on pictures. I love the features included with it just because you can add light effects to your pictures as well as it having really great filters and the many to choose from too. You can borders and change the color settings to how sharp, saturated or bright you want your pictures to be. I mainly use this app for the light effects

8) Rhonna Designs- This app, is an okay app. I am still trying to get used to this app however, I find that i dont use it as often. It did have to pay for the full version but in the end I didnt like it as much as I expected I would. The reason for this is because, I find it a little confusing to use. However, maybe after some getting used to, im sure I will find a way to use this app on my pictures

9) PicArt- This was one of the apps I heard was quite popular, and of course what better way than to test it out. I recently just downloaded that and to my happiness, I really love the app. The many filters in includes is just amazing. It does take time to get use to because of the many features but I have used to it edit my pictures and so far I am so happy with it. This app includes Effects, Masks, Draw, Text, Tools where you can adjust the brightness, colors, even has a clone app and cropping features. This app really has many features so its best to take time to get used to.

10) Fotorus- Like the Picsart, i have just recently downloaded this app and slowly I am loving it. This app is great for editing pictures because of the many features it includes. Such as: Scenes where you can change the tone of the picture according to the lighting, Add filters similar to instagram, stickers, borders, text, even add light effects.

11) Fotorus InstaMag- This app like fotorus, I just downloaded and totally loving the creativity of the app. This gives my pictures a magazine type effect and you can even choose from, Cartoon like, to fashion or to even just ordinary effects. This is a great app to use if your looking to have magazine style  effect. I mainly use this for fashion pictures

12) Real Bokeh- This is one of my favorite apps to use when adding bokeh to my pictures. I originally was looking around for the Picfx app which is available with the apple phones but unfortunately not with the Android. But this is by far a really great alternative, if not even better as you can control the shapes, sizes and colors as to how you want the bokeh to be. This app also includes filters and light effects which adds great effects to the pictures.

13) No Crop- This app is perfect to use when your picture is too big for Instagram. We all know that frustrating feeling when you can quite fit the whole picture on instagram as it only allows square shape pictures and cropping it would meaning wasting half of the pic. So this app really does wonders. Although it leaves you with a white border, at least you can see the whole picture. You can even add effects to the outside borders. From changing the color to adding a nice pictured background and not forgetting, you can also add a text too.

14) Photogrid- Photogrid is the main app I use to create a collage. There are many features that comes with this app, and not forgetting the many layouts you can choose from too. I love how this app, you can also add filters and texts which is great when creating a collage.

15) BeautyPlus- The last app is very similar to cunpic, this gives your pictures really nice effects. Again, this includes, beautify and effects. Where you can remove blemishes and and really nice features and borders too.

So here guys, those are my top 15 apps I use to edit my instagram photos. I hope my reviews helped. If you need any more questions feel free to contact me.

Have a great day

GlossyBox Pop Art Themed October 2014

Hey Love
So here is a quick post of my latest subscription box from GlossyBox October 2014. I recently joined the company by subscribing monthly which cost me just under £13 monthly. I had previously been subscribed to the company a while back however I did take a break and decided just recently to get back to do it and I really enjoyed this months product and this months theme of POP ART.

The outer packaging which was the box it came in was very different from all the other boxes I had received in the box. It was a very bright yellow packaging which the Pop art wordings on the side and I just couldn't wait to open it. The second box inside, was again very bright and had a picture of a girl putting on mascara and of course the Glossybox logo. I really loved this months packaging just because of the theme and of course I kept the box, as I did with all my others as they do come very handy. Inside the box as I open it contained well packaged items wrapped in a light pink tissue paper with a black ribbon around it and with that the box contained 2 postcards, one of which was a sneak peak of the november box and the other was a welcoming card. I however, never received a leaflet containing further information on the products such as the prices and where you can buy the items but the website of GlossyBox had all the information needed for these items which was really great.

So here is a list of the items I received and my personal reviews on the them:

1) Creme Fraiche de Beaute Mask- First time trying on the mask I was a little confused on how to apply this on my skin as I have never tried on a mask before which has the same consistency as a normal mask that you would apply on, leave on and wash off. However, after doing further research I had found out that you can use this as a normal mask and wash off after 10 minutes or simply massage on to the skin as you would with a lotion and this will help to keep the skin feel really hydrated. I personally LOVED the product. I was so thrilled that it came in full size and I do believe this retails for about £19.50 for the 50ml which is why I think the quality of this product is just so amazing. The consistency, is exactly what a lotion feels like and fragrance wise, to me it almost has a green tea smell to it and smells very natural. It never had a greasy feeling and I could feel how well it moisturized my skin throughout the day. Overall I love this product I totally recommended.

2) Yves Rocher Quelques Notes D'amour- The second item in the box is the lovely sample fragrance by Yves Rocher. I love getting sample perfumes in a little miniature bottle, I think they look really cute and provides me with a little more product as would a small thin perfume bottle would. The perfume has a really strong fragrance to it, almost like a floral rich smell and perfect to use during special occasions. I know personally myself, I love saving sample perfumes only for when time comes to using it as I really dont like wasting it, and this also go for the bigger version. But The smell of the perfume is really strong, very vibrant and the packaging itself is simple but has an elegant touch to it. The bottle packaging does not have too many details just a simple engraved heart on the side of the bottle. In terms of price, this retails and about £33 for the 30 ml size.

3) So Susan Flutter Mascara- This is an intense carbon black mascara which provides the darkest lashes. So when i saw this product I was really excited to give this a try, the packaging alone looked super adorable and the Gold Color made it stand out for me. Too be honest I have never heard of the brand before but have recently researched more on their product ranges and I am very impressed. The wand brush itself was not as large as I expected and the consistency was a little on the liquid side in comparison to my other mascaras, however what I loved about the product was that it gave me the darkest and most intense color which is one of the things I look for in Mascara's. The color is super intense that it made me look like I had fuller lashes. However, It did mention, that the product make the eyelashes curl after the second coat, but with my stubborn straight lashes, even after curing them with a curling wand did not work for me. I tried applying several coats but it just did not curl it as well as expected. However, despite the curl problem I have, I love the product, it even has a hint of fragrance to it and I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for an intense black mascara. This came in full size and retails for £14.95 for 4ml

4) Ciate Paint Pot ( Talent Scout)- When I first heard that this nail polish by Ciate was going to be in the box I was so happy and thrilled just because I am such a massive fan of the brand. I had received one Ciate Paint Pot (island hopping) in my past GlossyBox and loved the product. The packing is super cute with the little black ribbon on the front and the colors are so vibrant and in excellent quality too. My Ciate Paint pot came in the shade purple which I was very impressed bu as this is the perfect season to wear this color and goes very well with anything I wear. So I was really impressed with this item, and it also came in full size to. This product retails for £9.00 for 13.5ml

5) Rimmel Londons BB cream matte Minis (Light)- This is a multitasking 9-in-1 skin perfecting makeup and also contains spf25. I was really impressed that this months box came with a Rimmel Product as I am such a massive fan of the brand and coudnt wait to test this BB cream out. At first test, I did find that the product was a little too light for my considering I have an almost caramel like skin tone however, after blending this in very well into my skin I did find that it wasnt as problematic as I thought it would be. But personally, I like semi-heavy coverage foundations and BB cream can be a little to light for me in terms of Coverage. However, it does wanders for me during summer when I like to wear less foundations. So I am glad I got this in my box as it will come in handy. This product retails at £6.99 for 30ml

6) Etre Belle Liplift Peel- This product is a moisturizing lip exfoliator which helps to remove any dead cells on the lips surface to keep it more softer and moisturized. I have never tried a lip exfoliator before and I was really impressed by this product. It contains miniature scrubs just like a facial scrub which helps to remove any dead cells which is so useful for me during the winter. I always get dry lips during cold season and this will help not only to keep it softer but to moisturize it along the way. I really is simple to use, and it almost acts exactly the same was as you would apply a lip gloss. This product retails at £12.95 for 15ml.

Thanks for reading and have magical day
